Mission Statement

The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation (RIHEBC) mission is to aid eligible institutions in the educational and healthcare fields in Rhode Island gain access to capital. To remain proactive in developing cost-effective programs, offering staff assistance, and providing technical resources that benefit these institutions.

Mr. Dewhirst previously served as Treasurer of Citizens Bank in Providence, RI.

Scott A. Davis – Vice Chairman
Mr. Davis is President of Fuller Mill Realty LLC.

Ralph A. Palumbo – Treasurer
Mr. Palumbo is a Managing Member of DiGennaro & Palumbo, LLP-CPAs.
Term Expires: June 30, 2018

Merrill W. Sherman- Boardmember
Ms. Sherman is chair of the RI Infrastructure Bank and a co-founder of Bank Rhode Island.
Term Expires: June 30, 2021

Judith Bentkover, Ph.D. – Boardmember
Dr. Bentkover is the developer of the Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership program at Brown University and Professor of the Practice in Brown’s School of Public Health and Tufts University’s Department of Economics.
