Providence Breaks Ground On Major Renovations To Mount Pleasant High School

Congratulations to the City of Providence, Mayor Brett Smiley, and Providence Public Schools on breaking ground on major renovations to Mount Pleasant High School! Thanks to support from Governor Dan McKee, Speaker Joe Shekarchi, and Senate President Valarie Lawson, we’re renovating and building new public school facilities in Providence and across Rhode Island.

Since 2019, we’ve provided the City of Providence with more than $120 million in tax exempt bond financing for public school construction and renovation projects across the city.
