RIHEBC Awards $97,000 Capital Grant to Family Service of Rhode Island to Repair Flood Damaged Building

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On May 9th, the Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation (RIHEBC) presented a ceremonial $97,912 Capital Grant Program check to Family Service of Rhode Island to cover costs related to repairing damage caused by a recent flood at the organization’s 55 Hope Street building in Providence.

“RIHEBC is proud to present this Capital Grant award to Family Service of Rhode Island for the repair of their Hope Street facility in Providence, which delivers critical services to area children and families,” said Kim Mooers, Executive Director of RIHEBC. “Our mission is to help our state’s health and educational organizations meet their facilities needs, and that’s exactly what this Capital Grant will allow Family Service of Rhode Island to do.”

RIHEBC’s Capital Grant Program assists eligible institutions in completing capital projects or making equipment purchases that are critical to advancing their missions.
