RIHEBC Celebrates Groundbreaking For New Central Falls High School

On April 26th, RIHEBC Board Chair Channavy Chhay, Vice Chair Bill Murray, and Executive Director Dylan Zelazo joined state and local leaders to break ground on the City of Central Falls’ new high school.

RIHEBC is pleased to have provided $93.5 million in bond financing to make this new Central Falls High School project a reality.

This project couldn’t have happened without years of advocacy and cooperation between Mayor Maria Rivera, former Mayor and now Treasurer James Diossa, Governor Dan McKee, and the General Assembly. There’s nothing more fundamental to the success of our cities, towns, and state than a vibrant public education system, and we’re proud that RIHEBC provides the bond financing to make school construction projects like this happen.

Since 2015, RIHEBC has provided more than $2.5 billion in bond financings for public school construction and renovation projects across Rhode Island.
