RIHEBC Celebrates 60 Years & $855 Million In Bond Funding In FY 2026

This year, RIHEBC is proud to celebrate 60 years of helping Rhode Island’s health care, educational, and nonprofit organizations. Since 1966, we have served as a dedicated partner, providing the tax-exempt bond financing these vital institutions need to meet their facilities needs and their missions. From large-scale campus expansions, to new hospital buildings and health care clinics, to new public school facilities, our mission remains focused on supporting the organizations that serve our community.

Over the last 60 years, we have provided more than $12 billion in bond financing for facilities projects in all 39 cities and towns in Rhode Island.

Our impact continued in FY 2026, with 13 transactions providing $855,865,000 in bond financing for facilities projects across the state.

In addition, we awarded $1 million in Capital Grants to 45 local health, education, and community service organizations for smaller facilities projects.

While much has changed over the last 60 years, RIHEBC’s mission remains the same. We look forward to many more years of building Rhode Island’s future together!
